To determine if you are a good candidate for dental implants, you will receive a careful examination,
including your jaws, mouth, teeth, gums, head and neck to determine the condition of your jaws and gums. You will
be asked questions about your dental and medical history. Several diagnostic tests may be given, including
x-rays and blood tests.
If your jawbone is deficient, a bone graft may be required in order to receive dental implants. Usually bone
grafting is a relatively comfortable procedure. Many different materials are available, including your own bone.
